Different sectors, one recurring shape: a process that matters, spread across systems that were not designed to cooperate, with consequences when it goes wrong.
In each case the work required understanding the business process first - how money moves, how an operation is actually run, what a compliance officer or a dispatcher has to decide - and only then designing the system.
